Alan Batt Estate Agents, Wigan: About the Company

I have lived in the Wigan area for over 40 years and was educated at Upholland Grammar, which is now Winstanley College.

I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in BSc(Hons) Urban Land Economics which included 1 year professional training in valuation with the District Valuers Office, Inland Revenue Wigan.

Shortly after I qualified as a Chartered Valuation Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and subsequently was employed as a Valuation Surveyor with the estates department of Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council and Sales Manager for Wainhomes.

I started my own business, Batt & Brown Estate Agents, in March 1984 and have been successfully selling houses in the area since then. We recently changed our trading name to Alan Batt Estate Agents.

I could not have been this successful without a great team supporting me. So now it is time to meet the team...
